Troon Golf was founded in 1990 to deliver world-class golf experiences to daily-fee, resort and private golfers. At its first facility, the world-renowned Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, the "member for a day" golf experience was pioneered. Troon Golf courses have become synonymous with superior golf courses worldwide. In fact, 28 golf courses in the Troon Golf portfolio have received "Top 100" rankings in national and international publications. This number is impressive when matched against our top three competitors that combine for 12 golf courses total in the same category. Also, Troon Golf courses recently received the top two awards given for golf course agronomy by Golf Magazine and Golf Digest. Another area of Troon Golf's expertise is the management of private golf clubs. Troon Golf currently manages several private clubs in which we have created unique membership programs and built appropriate business plans to market those memberships effectively. Additionally, Troon Golf has instituted programs whereby members at private clubs managed by Troon Golf receive preferred access and reduced rates at other Troon Golf facilities.
